Automobile tariffs to be cut down


QĐND – Monday, March 15, 2010, 20:55 (GMT+7)

PANO – Automobile tariffs will be cut down by 3-6 per cent to 80 per cent and 77 per cent, according to the Ministry of Finance.


The cuts are followed by Circular No 31/2010/TT-BTC on the tariffs amendments that will come into effect on April 22, 2010.


Particularly, import tariffs on under-nine-seat cars that are powered with petrol and have cylinders with capacity of 2.5 liter and above will be 80 per cent.   


Meanwhile, 4-wheels cars with two main axles will see 77 per cent tariffs from the current of 83 per cent.
