PANO – The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has been preparing various art and cultural activities to celebrate the 1,000^th Thang Long – Hanoi anniversary in 15 foreign countries, including China, Japan, Republic of Korea, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, France, Germany, Belgium, Russia, the USA, Canada, Mexico, Cuba and Australia.

Exhibitions and art performances will introduce Hanoi’s history, culture and people to foreigners.

Special cultural identities, such as water puppetry, street vendors, Dong Ho paintings, traditional musical instruments, traditional customs, lacquer and handicrafts, will be showcased.
