The Center for Education of History and Tradition under Vietnam Association of Science, Psychology and Education in coordination with the Liaison Committee of the Central Highlands B3 Front, the Army Corps No3, has organised a trip back to old battlefields to honour Vietnamese heroic martyrs.
136 veterans and former volunteers and representatives of families who had given outstanding service to the country, and officials from Hanoi, Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh, Thanh Hoa, Son La and Dac Nong provinces, will join the trip from March 6th to 13th.
Meanwhile, 130 other veterans also made a pilgrimage to the Central Highlands region to visit old battlefields and attend the ceremony to mark 35th anniversary of Buon Ma Thuot’s Liberation.
During the week-long trip, the delegation will visit historical places such as Quang Tri Ancient Citadel, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Dang Thuy Tram Hospital, and several army units in the region.
