Vietnam’s national flag carrier, Vietnam Airlines will re-start direct flights from HCM city to Nagoya in Japan twice weekly from August 13.
The airline first started the route in July 2005 and suspended operations in December 2007 due to a low demand from passengers.
A representative from the airline said that currently, in total, there are 25 flights a week from HCM City to four Japanese cities including Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka and Nagoya.
The airline had previously begun the air route from Hanoi to Nagoya in November 2009.
