The concert, “Dvorak Night”, will take place at the Hanoi Opera House at 8pm tonight and tomorrow evening to introduce some Cello Concerto pieces of the famous Czech composer, Antonin Dvorak.
Artist Ngo Hoang Quan, Director of the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra, the best Cello Vietnamese artist, who has known for performing successfully the Dvorak’s works in Moscow, Japan, Macedonia, Germany and Thailand, will present his Cello Concerto in the first of the concerts.
In second part, the Orchestra will perform the Dvorak’s Eighth Symphony. This work, and his Ninth Symphony, are Dvorak’s most salient successes and also are known as the two best symphonies of the 19th century by many experts.
The “Dvorak Night” will be under the baton of the famous Japanese conductor Honna Tetsuji.
