After only three practice classes, Vietnamese artists praised Ansbacher’s brilliance.

“Our orchestra has worked with many foreign conductors. This is the first time we cooperate with Charles Ansbacher but I see that he has a very nice style. I strongly believe that the upcoming concert will be very successful. We feel many new things from the music works that we will play this time when we work with Ansbacher,” said Nguyen Tien Phuc, the chief of the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra.

The American conductor was also pleased to work with Vietnamese artists. “We are easy to work together. We have only one week to practice and perform together. We play famous music works and a new one. I’ve worked with many orchestras in the world. Vietnamese instrumentalists are very serious and carefully prepare for practices so I’m very pleased to work with them”.

Ansbacher has chosen special music works for VietNamNet’s “Conciliation and Love” concert. Besides music by Rossini, Faure, the focus of this concert will be the Symphony No. 9 “From the New World” or “New World Symphony” by Antonin Leopold Dvorak.

Talking with VietNamNet reporter on April 20, the American conductor said that it is an honor to be invited to Vietnam this time.

“I’m very eager to come to Vietnam because my son went to Vietnam last year and he told me that the trip was wonderful. It is regrettable that my trip is short. I hope to have a chance to return to Vietnam to feel your country’s beauty like my son,” he said.
