Vietnam’s tourism continues to be advertised on CNN

QĐND – Monday, July 12, 2010, 20:53 (GMT+7)

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has approved an advertising campaign for Vietnam’s tourism on the CNN tv channel in 2010.

Accordingly, this year’s campaign will be carried out in the third and fourth quarter at a cost of VND 5.3 billion, around 12% of the total budget for the national tourism promotion program.

Last year, Vietnam’s tourism was advertised on both BBC and CNN, however, in the near future, the images of Vietnam’s tourism will be only shown on CNN due to the high cost of advertising.

In addition, Vietnamese culture and tourism promotion activities will be improved through international travel magazines and road-shows in key markets, such as Europe, Northeast Asia, China and ASEAN.
