Cruise ship Princess Daphne lands at Saigon Port

The Saigontourist Travel Service Company have received the luxury cruise ship Princess Daphne, which has brought more than 500 visitors and crewmembers to Ho Chi Minh City on December 30.

The visitors, mostly from Australia, took a tour of Ho Chi Minh City, the Cu Chi tunnels and My Tho City in the Tien Giang province.

This is the first time Princess Daphne has arrived in Vietnam. The cruise ship will leave the city on the evening of December 31 and return to Vietnam on January 15.

The Saigontourist Company have reported that it has welcomed over 60,000 foreign visitors from the UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain to Vietnam by cruise ships. This leading tour operator in Vietnam has join with the Asia Cruise Services Network-ACSN, in order to promote cruise tourism in the country.

Saigontourist Travel Service Co. received the luxury cruise ship Costa Classica bringing around 2,500 visitors and crew in Ha Long City, the northern province of Quang Ninh, on November 23.


The visitors, mostly from France, Spain, the UK and Germany, are in a six-day trans-Viet route to popular tourist spots in Ha Long, Hanoi, Danang, Hue, Nha Trang and Ho Chi Minh City from November 23 to 28.


The cruise liner is scheduled to make another trip to Vietnam on January 22, 2011.

2,500 cruise visitors tour Vietnam

The Saigontourist Travel Service Company (Saigontourist) welcomed 2,500 cruise visitors, mainly from European countries, on the Costa Romantica cruise that docked in Ha Long Bay on October 29th.


During the 6-day tour, the tourists will visit popular tourist sites in Vietnam, such as Ha Long Bay, Yen Tu Mountain and Bai Chay beach in the northern province of Quang Ninh; the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Temple of Literature and old quarters in Hanoi; Thanh Ha pottery village, My Son Sanctuary in Danang city; the Thien Mu pagoda, Minh Mang Tomb and Hue Royal Palace in Thua Thien Hue provinces, to name a few.


On November 2nd, Saigontourist will receive another 2,500 cruise visitors on the Costa Classica to tour Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi – My Tho – Danang – Hoi An and Thua Thien Hue.


From the beginning of this year, the company has welcomed more than 45,000 foreign tourists, mainly from European countries traveling on cruise ships.

Luxury cruise ship comes back to city

After taking a one-year hiatus, the five-star cruise ship SuperStar Virgo returned to Vietnam on June 8.

The cruise ship, transporting more than 3,000 visitors from Singapore, Malaysia, Australia and other homelands, landed Ho Chi Minh City’s Lotus Port, scheduled to stay for one day.

The travelers visited the city’s destinations, taking traditional Vietnamese food.

The cruise ship will be back to Vietnam June 22.

Saigontourist, the leading travel company in the country, has received more than 37,000 visitors in the first six months of the year.

The Saigontourist Travel Service Company welcomed the arrival of the Costa Romantica cruise liner at Ho Chi Minh City’s Navi port on May 18.


On board were 2,100 tourists and crew, mainly from Italy, Spain, the UK and Germany.


Their tour runs from HCM City-Cu Chi-My Tho to central region.  


The ship will return to Vietnam on June 1 and 15. In the first five months of this year, the company has received over 30,000 foreign tourists from cruise liners, mainly from Europe.

The Saigontourist Travel Service Company welcomed 2,100 cruise visitors mainly from Italia, Spain, the UK and Germany on May 4th at the Navi Oil Seaport in Ho Chi Minh City.


These foreign travelers jointed the tour of Ho Chi Minh City – My Tho – Danang – Hoi An – My Son and Hue.


The tour includes various activities to help visitors explore the beauty of Vietnam and its cultural identities.


Since early this year, Saigontourist has received more than 30,000 cruise visitors from European countries.


According to Ho Chi Minh City’s Tourism Department, the city has welcomed more than 1 million foreign tourists, an increase of 10% compared to the same period last year.

The Saigontourist Travel Service Company on April 20 welcomed the arrival of the Costa Romantica cruise ship in HCM City.


On board were 2,100 tourists and crew, mainly from Italy, Spain, Britain and Germany.


Their tour through HCM City-Cu Chi-My Tho to Da Nang-Hoi An-My Son-Hue will last until April 22.


As the only company that serves five-star cruise ships belonging to the Costa Croiciere Line, Saigontourist provides a complete travel service for visitors during their stay in Vietnam.


Next month, the Costa Romantica cruise ship will return to Vietnam on a similar tour organised by Saigontourist.

HCMC welcomes over 3,000 cruise ship passengers

The Saigontourist Travel Company received 3,250 foreign visitors from two five-star international cruise ships – the Costa Classica and the Costa Allegra – to Ho Chi Minh City on March 22-23.








 

The tourists, mostly from Italy, Spain, the UK, and Germany, are part of Saigontourist tour that will take them to the Mekong Delta city of My Tho and other localities in the central region including Da Nang, Hoi An, My Son and Hue.


In HCMC, the visitors will be taken on a city tour, which includes shopping in Ben Thanh Market and visits to workshops that produce rice pancakes and lacquer ware.


The city also plans to welcome another luxury cruise ship, the Europa, on March 29.
