In Uncategorized on October 29, 2010 at 4:45 pmOn October 26th and 28th, the Life Insurance Company, Manulife Vietnam, offered scholarships worth of VND100 million to ten new students with excellent entrance exam results in 2010.
Founded in June 2009, the scholarship fund, “For your future”, initiated by Manulife Vietnam, has rewarded many outstanding students at high schools with excellent results at university entrance exams.
Addressing the event, Mr. Carl Gustini, General Director of Manulife Vietnam, said “Education is the foundation for a brilliant future, and the key to thousands of chances. The Fund has manifested our pledge in the development of your education cause”.

Ben Tre teacher wins scholarship from Cambridge University
In Uncategorized on March 24, 2010 at 5:13 amAn English teacher from the Mekong Delta province of Ben Tre has been selected one of the five best teachers in an international competition conducted by the Cambridge ESOL program.

Le Xuan Hang, a secondary school English teacher from Ben Tre Province’s Giong Trom District, has won a scholarship to attend a teaching skills development course conducted by the Bell International Institute in Cambridge in July 2010.
The competition attracted over 2,000 teachers from many countries who were asked to write “150 words about benefits that teachers and students receive after you attend a course to enhance professional knowledge at Cambridge”.
The four other teachers selected are from Argentina, Taiwan, Poland and Kazakhstan.
